Hi, I'm the owner of H2O Plumbing and we're here located in Bertram, Texas. If you got a slab leak, you can call us anywhere in central Texas. We'll come to you. We'll diagnose the issue. We'll detect the leak. And once we find it, that means we got to break open the concrete. We're going to break open the concrete. We're going to fix your leak. We'll put the concrete back. We're going to make sure that when we walk away, we didn't just come out there, charge you a bunch of money to fix something that didn't need to be fixed. We're going to monitor the meter while we're fixing the leak. So if you got a slab leak, just give us a call. H2O Plumbing, we got your back.

When to get in touch

Start with evidence.

Moisture or a warm floor can have more than one explanation. We separate the symptoms from the diagnosis and discuss what needs to be checked.

  • Unexplained moisture around a floor or wall
  • A warm area on the floor that seems unusual
  • Water-use changes with no visible leak
  • Previous under-slab repairs or recurring concerns

How we work

A clear plan for a suspected slab leak.

  1. 01

    Review the signs

We discuss the symptom history, plumbing layout and previous work to define the investigation.

  2. 02

    Locate the concern

Findings guide where further access or testing is useful. We explain the limits of what has been established.

  3. 03

    Compare repair routes

You can weigh a direct repair against rerouting where appropriate, including access and restoration.

The right work for your property

Compare slab-leak repair routes.

Access the affected section

A direct repair addresses the identified pipe section. The proposal should explain the floor opening and who restores the finish.

Consider another route

Rerouting may avoid part of the under-slab path but can introduce other access and connection work. Suitability depends on the building.

Pricing & planning

Know the work.
Know the cost.

Locating the affected line, reaching it and restoring finishes can be separate parts of the job. Pipe routing, access and the chosen repair method drive the estimate.

Discuss your repair
How the problem is evaluated

A useful investigation brings together the symptom history and previous repairs, then establishes which line is affected. The findings should explain any locating limitations before an access route is selected. Compare the repair extent and the restoration involved in each suitable approach.

Compare the ways forward
  • Localized access and repair keeps the work centered on a confirmed area; it also creates an opening and a restoration obligation.
  • Rerouting considers a different pipe path; its practicality depends on access, layout and protection of the new route.
  • A broader replacement addresses more piping but should have a reason beyond the existence of one leak.
What affects cost and timing

The confirmed location, pipe route, depth and material influence the plumbing work. Flooring, occupied rooms, access and the selected repair approach influence everything around it. Discuss water interruption, applicable approvals and finish restoration before scheduling.

Scheduling, permits & warranties

The address, scope, materials and any required inspections determine the schedule. We discuss service interruptions, approvals and work by other trades before you decide.

Your written estimate should identify the applicable manufacturer and workmanship warranty terms, including any exclusions. Coverage is specific to the agreed work and equipment.

Before we get started

Slab-leak questions.

Have a question about your property? We’re happy to talk it through.

Ask H2O Plumbing Authority
Does a warm floor prove there is a slab leak?

No. A warm area or damp floor alone does not prove a leak beneath the slab. Tell us where it happens and when you first noticed it so the investigation starts with the right details.

Must the floor be opened directly above the leak?

Opening the floor is one possible approach, but it is not the only route to consider. The pipe location and available access determine whether a direct repair, rerouting or a wider replacement is suitable.

Does the plumbing estimate include flooring and concrete restoration?

Only if those items are included in the written estimate. Before you agree to the work, make sure it identifies who handles the plumbing, any concrete work and the finished floor.

Will insurance pay?

Coverage depends on the policy and circumstances. Ask your insurer what documentation it needs and what your policy covers. A plumbing estimate cannot confirm an insurance claim outcome.
