Hello everyone, I'm recording this video to kind of give my appreciation to H2O. We've done a great job. We're in the market looking to install a water softener for our whole house. As you can see in the background, they've done a swell job with all the plumbing fixtures, the filters, the walls and cutting edge new water softening system. Yeah, so if you are in a market for this, I would say definitely give them a call. They're very professional, they've come over here at every time I have made a request for them to stop by and we've seen a great improvement in the water quality. Thank you very much H2O.

The right work for your property

Water softening and filtration options.

Water softening

A softener is selected for hardness treatment. Capacity and setup should fit the water conditions and demand.

Water filtration

Filtration is selected for specific concerns and the performance of the chosen equipment. It is not interchangeable with softening.

How water softeners work

Hard water in.
Softer water out.

You can’t see dissolved hardness minerals. But your fixtures can show them. Here’s what happens inside a salt-based softener.

01 / Incoming water

Meet the minerals.

Hard water contains dissolved calcium and magnesium. These minerals can leave scale on fixtures and make soap harder to rinse away.

02 / Inside the resin tank

A tiny exchange.
A difference you feel.

Water passes through a bed of resin beads. The beads capture calcium and magnesium and release sodium ions in their place. This is called ion exchange.

CaMgNaHardness stays on the beads.
Sodium goes with the water.

03 / The recharge cycle

That’s where
the salt comes in.

Over time, the beads fill with hardness minerals. Saltwater from the brine tank recharges them. The captured minerals flush to a drain, and the system rinses before returning to service.

Salt is for recharging.
The concentrated brine goes to the drain during this cycle.

Before we get started

Water softener and filtration questions.

Have a question about your property? We’re happy to talk it through.

Ask H2O Plumbing Authority
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

H2O Plumbing Authority offers a five-day money-back guarantee on the water filtration systems we install.

What workmanship warranty comes with the packages?

The Basic package includes a one-year H2O Plumbing Authority workmanship warranty, Gold includes two years and Platinum includes three years. Equipment warranty details are listed separately in each package.

Will one system fix every water concern?

No. A softener addresses hardness, while a filter is chosen for particular water-quality concerns. Start with what you want to change and check that the specific equipment is designed to address it.

Should I buy equipment before arranging an assessment?

It is better to review the water information, space and connections first. That helps avoid buying a system that does not suit the property or the concern you want to solve.

What does certified filtration mean?

Check the exact model and the particular reduction claim it has been certified for. A certification does not mean the system removes everything from the water.

What ongoing work will I need to do?

It depends on the equipment. Ask about salt or other consumables, filter changes, servicing and access. We discuss the model’s upkeep requirements as part of comparing your options.
